This is an incredibly important meet being hosted by the Waveney & North at Somerleyton Hall. Please read the following from the Senior Master, Chris Mc Daniel;

"This event is being organised to show MPs, police and media how we lay and hunt trails.

Will you all invite your own MP to attend the demo at Somerleyton Hall on Friday 10th October, starting at 10.30 am.

As you know, the government want to stop trail hunting, so this event is so important to show them what we actually do.

Please help save all our Hounds by doing this one thing.

This is a newcomers meet, with 3 or 4 trails. A great opportunity for all to participate. Give trail hunting a try! Come and see hounds work and enjoy a day out with your horse.

(There will be 2 groups_ Newcomers and experienced)

Everyone will be made to feel very welcome.

Refreshments afterwards.

Hound Exercise

Please join us for hound exercise!

Hound exercise starts again next August... join us then!

This will be a very relaxed ride for 1 to 1.5 hours of walking and trotting with maybe a couple of canters on the stubble for those that wish to. It is a gentle introduction to riding with our friendly hounds for those who may be wanting to try it for the first time (pass it onto your friends!)

Dress code is casual but tidy please and no plaiting is needed.
